Parents, carers and family supporters across Birmingham are invited to a full day of learning, connection and empowerment. This conference brings together expert speakers, lived‑experience voices and local services to help strengthen families and build safer communities.
Who the Event Is For
Open to anyone caring for or supporting children aged 4+, including: SEND parents, young parents, foster carers, residential care staff, extended family carers and professionals working with children and families.
What the Day Offers
- Practical strategies for parenting, wellbeing, behaviour and safety
- Workshops led by specialists in trauma, neurodiversity, grief, safeguarding and parent advocacy
- A supportive space to learn, share and connect
- Information on services and resources across Birmingham and the West Midlands
Lunch is provided for all attendees.

Featuring experts in family support, youth safety, trauma, rights and lived experience, including: Darren Laville, VRP speakers Matt Stone & Lea‑A. Bentley, Dion Calder, Steven Stanier, Malieka Selassie, and voices of young people and parents.
