Safer Neighbourhoods Board

The Safer Neighbourhoods Board board develops and delivers projects against 6 priorities. These include but are not limited to the ASB Hotspot Pilot Project, redeployable CCTV cameras and the ASB Case Review

Violence Reduction Board

The Violence Reduction Board (VRB) commissions, develops and delivers projects against 4 priorities to assist the Birmingham Community Safety Partnership in fulfilling its statutory duties. Some of the projects include the Youth Inspector Programme and the STEP Together Programme.

Violence Against Women and Girls

The Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Board is a multi-agency governance body focused on reducing and preventing violence against women and girls in Birmingham. It oversees key areas such as Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews, Modern Day Slavery, sexual exploitation, and initiatives like Birmingham Against Female Genital Mutilation. Its objectives include sharing information to identify emerging risks, developing strategic responses, commissioning work to support its aims, and ensuring community engagement, particularly the voices of those with lived experience.

Serious Organised Crime and Adult Exploitation

The Birmingham Serious and Organised Crime and Adult Exploitation Partnership is a multi-agency group dedicated to tackling serious and organised crime and safeguarding vulnerable adults across the city. Operating under the Birmingham Community Safety Partnership, it brings together law enforcement, local authorities, and key stakeholders to share intelligence, coordinate action, and implement strategic interventions. Through a collaborative approach based on the 4Ps, Prepare, Protect, Prevent, Pursue, the partnership works to disrupt criminal networks, reduce exploitation, and promote public safety.
